Meet Anne.

Anne knows Annapolis. From luxury, waterfront, single-family, condos, she has been listing and selling homes in the Annapolis area since 2004. Anne knows the neighborhoods, the nooks and crannies of the various communities and waterways, the best shopping, the restaurants and where to find the superior local oysters and crabs. She loves and lives the Annapolis lifestyle, having moved to the area from Washington, DC, 30 years ago. Originally from Cambridge on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake, Anne considers herself a true “Bay Girl” having grown up on the Choptank River. She now is an active sailor on the Severn River and enjoys racing her Harbor 20 sailboat in the Wednesday Night Race series, as well as charity regattas. When not sailing, Anne and her husband Willie, can be found out on their 30’ downeast express cruiser, “Josephine,” entertaining friends and family with picnics and cocktail hours. And raft-ups with other friends’ boats are a great way to meet up on the many creeks and coves off the Severn River.

Anne has been involved in volunteer activities organizations for many years—she is a person who believes in giving back to the community. She has served as the chairman of Leukemia Cup Regatta and various events surrounding the fundraiser sailboat race. She was co-chairman of the Rolex Women’s International Regatta held in Annapolis in 2001—an event that she, along with other dedicated volunteers, worked on for a whole year in preparation. Volunteering has been her way to get to know the community and to meet great people. In 2003, Anne was one of the founders of The Box of Rain Foundation, a non-profit organization that serves disadvantaged local youth who never had the opportunity to get on the water to enjoy the many maritime-related activities on The Bay. The organization has helped more than 500 young people to experience sailing, crabbing, fishing, boat safety, kayaking, swimming, and to learn about the rivers and The Bay. In 2018, after 16 successful years, Box of Rain merged with the educational department at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. Anne is now actively involved with AMM as a member of the board of directors.

She also has served on the board for the Eastport Civic Association and was involved for many years with the Eastport House and Garden Tours. In 2018, Anne was invited to join the organizing committee of for the commissioning of the new Navy warship USS Sioux City, that was held in Annapolis. “Working on this event was an honor and a privilege,” she says. “I have enjoyed several great careers in hospitality and the travel industry, doing marketing and sales for hotels and cruise lines. Becoming a real estate agent was a natural progression for me and I have loved being a part of such a vital industry for 16 years. I thrive on helping people buy and sell homes and seeing them move on to the next chapter,” she relates. She has developed long lasting relationships with many of her clients. Her love of Annapolis and the Eastern Shore shows through her enthusiasm when introducing people to the Bay.

Anne and her husband live in a renovated cottage in Eastport with their French bulldog, Mabel Blue and orange tabby cat, Tony (the Tiger). They are popular entertainers, having gatherings in their home several times a month. International travel is one of their passions, with their most recent trips being to Lisbon, Paris and London. Anne and Willie are members of both Eastport Yacht Club and Annapolis Yacht Club.
